According to sources, the marriage of the man was fixed with a girl from Dibalapadu village. However, no transportation facility was available in the village due to the strike of the drivers.
Association secretary Debendra Sahu on Friday informed that the strike which was threatened following disruption of bus operations by Drivers' Mahasangh has been cancelled.

Around 10,000 auto-rickshaw and car drivers under the aegis of Smart City Online Auto Association launched the agitation in protest against alleged humiliation by agitating bus drivers.

Meanwhile, the LoP also raised the issue of students dropping out of the ongoing matriculation examination in the state. Over 15,000 students skipped the matriculation examination in the state.
Following a meeting with DGP Sunil Bansal on Tuesday to discuss the law and order situation during the protest, the Association announced that plying of buses will be normal across Odisha during the strike on Wednesday.
