Odisha currently has 9,664 active cases while 9,81,316 patients have recovered so far, including 845 on Wednesday.
The Covid positive tally in Odisha also rose to 9,70,814 after as many as 1,629 people tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.
Cuttack has the highest daily infection count today among all the districts in the State with as many as 335 people testing positive for the virus in the district.

With this, the active cases in the State increased to 31,231 while 8,77,540 patients recovered, including 3,233 on Wednesday, from the disease so far.
The daily infection numbers of Covid continues to oscillate in the State with as many as 3,371 persons testing positive for the Coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
Nine deaths were reported from Khordha district, including five in Bhubaneswar while five each from Bargarh, Nayagarh and Puri.
In the last fortnight, the Ct values in the State have nearly doubled to around 30 from 14-15 during the peak month of May. Worldwide the scientist community is unanimous that a high Ct value means low transmission of the virus
The cumulative Covid-19 count in the State stood at 8,25,110 while the death toll jumped to 3,080. The active cases in the State remained at 65,336 and 7,56,641 patients have so far recovered from the disease
Odisha on Wednesday registered its highest ever single-day Covid-19 toll with as many as 40 people succumbing to the virus while 8,399 new cases were reported across the State in the last 24 hours.
Odisha on Tuesday reported 37 more fatalities due to Covid-19 and 8,735 new cases in the last 24 hours. The cumulative death toll in the State jumped to 2791 while the total positive cases reached 773732.
At least 33 patients undergoing treatment for Covid-19 succumbed in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 2,719 in Odisha
Stressing that the positivity rate is more important than the number of positive cases, the State Director of Health services Bijay Mohapatra on Friday said that the the positivity rate in Odisha is not high as compared to the number of testing.
