The minor boy was bludgeoned to death in Kacharapulia area under Tangarpali Police Station in Sundargarh district. The matter came to light after the family of the deceased lodged a complaint on September 25.
When contacted, police said that they were waiting for the post-mortem reports that will reveal if the victim was gangraped or not.
Locals suspect it to be a murder case as they had spotted a jeep near the spot. Soon they noticed the body of the man lying near the same spot where the jeep had halted for some time.
The girl’s hands and legs were tied and Puri Police suspects that the victim was murdered and attempts were made to destroy the evidence as well.

The two were arrested on Sunday and have been identified as Vishnu Kumar Dwivedi and his aide Anuj Kumar Gupta a.k.a Sooraj Gupta, both of Kanpur. Both have confessed to their crime.
