An unruly mob charged into a police station and beat cops inside its premises black and blue during a protest on Tuesday (Sept 13). Hundreds of people from six panchayats in Adaba area of Gajapati district launched a dharna and gheraoed the police station.

When the procession was being taken out to mark the Hindu New Year, it entered an area where many people of a particular community reside. Suddenly, she heard people shouting and screaming.

As per reports, Narmada was pushed to the ground by the miscreants who kicked her on the abdomen multiple times. Narmada suffered serious injuries and lost her child in the process.

These images purportedly show how police are being attacked by a mob. The visuals are from Toranpada village under Bhadrak tehsil. As many as four police personnel, including a woman constable from the Sabaranga Police Station were injured in the incident.
