Besides condemning the anti-people policies of both the Centre and State government, the red rebels also opposed the arrest of Niyamgiri Suraksha Manch convener, Lingaraj Azad in the posters.
Earlier, four Maoist posters were found in the same region on February 28. Through the leaflets, the Maoists then had opposed the State government’s alleged attempts to suppress the Save Niyamgiri campaign.
Meanwhile, senior police officials could not be contacted over the recovery of such Maoist posters in Rayagada.
According to reports, the Basadhara-Ghumusar divisional committee of the CPI (Maoists) have put up the posters in front of ‘Dangaria Kandha Unnayana’ office at Parasali panchayat under Kalyansinghpur block of the district.
Besides, the red rebels have also threatened to declare bandh at Lanjigarh in Kalahandi district and Kalyansinghpur, Muniguda, Bissamcuttack in Rayagada district during the first phase polls.
