Manish Sisodia's Reaction On CBI Reaction
The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, on Monday termed the excise policy case as "completely fake and fabricated".
The Delhi Police imposed section 144 outside Sisodia's house. On Monday, a number of police personnel were also deployed to avoid untoward incidents in case of protest by the AAP workers.
Sisodia's accusation came as he faced a fresh salvo from the BJP on the excise policy row, with the party releasing a "sting operation" video that purportedly showed the father of a liquor scam accused claiming to have paid "commission" to acquire liquor licences in Delhi. Sisodia, however, called the video a "joke".
Sisodia is among the 15 people and entities named in an FIR registered by the agency in connection with alleged irregularities in the implementation of Delhi govt's Excise Policy 2021-22.
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday dismissed Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's claim of having received an offer to join the BJP and get all cases against him closed.

The CBI has registered an FIR in connection with alleged irregularities in formulation and execution of Delhi Excise Policy brought in November last year, they said.
However, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had also said during a press conference last week, the city will maintain the balance by opening around 500 centres.
The direction comes following a media report that the Thyagraj Stadium was being closed for sports activities earlier than usual so that a senior IAS officer could walk his dog at the facility.
