Ending their annual sojourn, Holy Trinity- Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra and Lord Balabhadra returned to the sanctum sanctorum of Puri Srimandir.
According to mythology, Lord Jagannath leaves his wife Goddess Laxmi in Srimandri while going to his aunt’s house along with his brother Lord Balabhadra and sister Goddess Subhadra for nine days.
A day after Suna Besha (golden attire ritual), Lord Jagannath and His siblings are offered the Adhara Pana, a rich sweet drink made up of an assortment of milk, banana, cheese, black pepper, nutmeg, camphor and other ingredients and spices.

Rath Yatra - Lord Jagannath makes his way to His chariot Nandighosa. The servitor ushered the Lord on to the chariot in ceremonial Pahandi rituals. The Lord concluded his stay at the Gundicha temple and will retrun to the Srimandir In Bahuda Yatra.

Puri Rath Yatra | Lord Jagannath will retrun to Puri Srimandir in Bahuda Yatra. The Lord and the Deities were brought to the chariots near Gundicha temple in Pahandi. During the Bahuda Yatra, the Deities will return to Srimandir after concluding their sojourn.
