In Uttar Pradesh, the appeal of PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath is overshadowing traditional caste dynamics in elections, with even Muslim and Dalit communities shifting towards BJP. This shift, along with strategic candidate placements by BSP, is altering the usual electoral predictions.

Polling will be held in as many as 28 Assembly seats of Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Berhampur in the fourth phase.

It is pertinent to mention here that BJD has nominated Parinita Mishra as its candidate for Bargarh Lok Sabha seat. Mishra will lock horns with BJP’s Pradeep Purohit and Congress’ Sanjay Bhoi.
