In one of the episodes of Problematic Men, RM admitted that he had a girlfriend when he was very young but she had a lot of guy friends which made him feel insecure, and that is why eventually they broke up. RM also triggered another affair rumours when during an interview with Billboard he revealed that verses for their hit album Love Yourself: Her came quickly to him as they were written from the bottom of his heart.
Jin wants a chubby-faced girlfriend
Jin has several times revealed that for him his ideal girl would be someone with a chubby face, good at cooking skills, and kind at heart. Rumours about Jin dating comedienne Lee Guk Joo were triggered when another comedian Jo Se Ho joked about the two publicly. However, later on, Lee Guk Joo confirmed that she never dated Jin.

The first rumours about Jungkook are about dating his classmate Park Se Won which was before he made his debut in singing. A hazy picture of the two getting cozy and kissing had also surfaced online in the recent past with Park Se Won indirectly hinting at the relationship by saying that her boyfriend is now too busy to be with her. However, the picture was quite unclear and hence the rumours were never confirmed.
Septet Jin, 29, Suga, 29, J-Hope, 28, RM, 27, V, 26, Jimin, 26, and Jungkook, 24, broke the news to their armies of fans during their annual FESTA dinner which celebrated the hugely popular band's nine years together, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
RM said it was time for them to work on their own, adding: "I always thought that BTS was different from other groups, but the problem with K-pop and the whole idol system is that they don't give you time to mature.
"You have to keep producing music and keep doing something."
J-Hope added: "I think we should spend some time apart to learn how to be one again. I hope you don't see this as a negative thing, and see it as a healthy plan. I think BTS will become stronger that way."
Suga exclaimed: "It's not like we're disbanding!"
Jimin said: "We can't help but think of our fans no matter what, we want to be the kind of artists that are remembered by our fans.
"I think now we're starting to think about what kind of artists we each want to be remembered by our fans.
"I think that's why we're going through a rough patch right now, we're trying to find our identity and that's an exhausting and long process."
V insisted they were not splitting and vowed the band's "synergy will be like no other" when they regroup.
Jung Kook released a solo single on Sunday called 'My You' while J-Hope has been announced as a headliner of Chicago's Lollapalooza festival in July.
Formed in 2010, South Korean boyband BTS -- also known as the Bangtan Boys -- also took a break in December 2021, when the group said they needed some down time to recharge.
They also took a mini break in 2019.
Jungkook's diagnosis comes almost a week after fellow member J-Hope tested COVID-19 positive and is under quarantine at home in South Korea.
According to the agency BigHit Music, Jungkook tested negative on a PCR test in Korea, and he departed for the US on March 27 in preparation for the Grammys, to be held on April 3.
"After arriving in Las Vegas, he felt a slight discomfort in his throat and promptly took a rapid PCR test (COVID-19 molecular PCR test) and a standard PCR test (COVID-19 quantitative PCR test) on the afternoon of Sunday, March 27 (PT).
"While being under self-quarantine as a proactive measure, the result of both tests came back positive, and Jungkook was confirmed with COVID-19 on Monday, March 28 (PT)," BigHit Music said in a statement shared on fan community forum Weverse.
Jungkook, whose full name is Jeon Jung-kook, is currently under self-quarantine and treatment, following the guidelines of health authorities in the US.
"He is not exhibiting any symptoms other than a mild sore throat, and we will attentively monitor his health during the quarantine," the agency further said.
The participation of the 24-year-old vocalist in the future activities in the US will be determined by the local COVID-19 regulations, BigHit Music said, adding they are "actively in discussion with the awards organizer".
BTS is nominated at the 2022 Grammys in the best pop duo/group performance category for their English single "Butter". The band, also comprising RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin and V, is scheduled to perform at the upcoming ceremony conducted by the Recording Academy, US.
Post their Grammys stint, the group is also set to perform at four shows at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium as part of their extended 'Permission to Dance On Stage' tour.
BigHit Music also extended sincerest apologies to ARMY, the fan club of BTS, for causing concern "despite our effort to take all necessary measures for our artists' health prior to and throughout the schedule in the United States."
"We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of Jungkook, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists. We will also continue to fully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities," the agency stated.
Last December, Suga, RM and Jin tested positive for the virus. In January 2021, Jimin went through surgery for acute appendicitis while also recovering from COVID-19.
In February, V tested positive for the disease.
On Tuesday, JK gave a sweet surprise to ARMY as he shared a glimpse of his boxing practice with his coach Tommy. Jungkook captioned the video as, "It's difficult." Within no time, the video garnered more than 1.9 million views.
In the video, Jungkook is seen having a training session with his coach while displaying his charms. JK is seen wearing a black sleeveless T-shirt and matching shorts along with a white mask on his face, and black and yellow boxing gloves.
As soon as Jungkook shared the video, his hyungs RM, J hope and V turned Instagram into their personal group chat as they left hilarious comments on JK's post.
While V and J-Hope praised him for his impressive boxing skills, their BTS RM seemed to be in a mood to pull the leg of the youngest member as he wrote, "Jungkook, first of all, I'm sorry..." making everyone laugh. To which Jungkook playfully responded by saying, "pardon?"
V wrote, "(you're) doing well" while J-Hope commented, "Taktakdeudududangdangdeukdeukdeuk".. referring to sounds that Jungkook made while boxing.
It is well known how the older members always love to pull the leg of JK as they feel like he is still a small child who had come for the audition and they have quite literally seen him growing up before their eyes.
BTS members- RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, are currently on an "extended period of rest".
"BTS is planning to take a second official extended period of rest since their first in 2019 after they complete their official scheduled events of BTS Permission To Dance On Stage- LA and the 2021 Jingle Ball Tour,” their agency Big Hit Music, had written in a statement shared on Twitter last month.

The BTS members joined António Guterres, Secretary General of the UN and many world leaders at the UN’s SDG Moment event to inspire action for the Global Goals and a better world for everyone.
Addressing the stage for a sustainability event, the seven members of the band appeared at the General Assembly hall to help promote UN goals for 2030 including ending extreme poverty, preserving the planet and achieving gender equality.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in introduced the pop stars and called them an “exceptionally outstanding group of young men who are connecting with the youth across the world.”
Then the seven artists took turns to address the event and even asserted that all seven of them were vaccinated.
Apart from talking about the UN goals, the septet also unveiled a special music video for 'Permission To Dance' which was shot at the UN Headquarters in New York.
Ever since the boy-band launched into stardom, they have been an active voice against social issues including calling out anti-Asian racism. Monday’s speech marked the group’s second appearance at the United Nations.
Earlier, the band had taken part in an event in 2018, when the group's leader, RM had spoken about its work with UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund).

In a section of their documentary film, 'Burn The Stage', the band members reminisced in a candid chat that the group would have been quite different, had things not worked out in a way they had anticipated. The members were chit-chatting over drinks and dinner when J-Hope revealed that he almost would not have debuted with the band.
He mentioned that he had decided to leave the group to pursue his solo dance career, but changed his decision thanks to Jungkook, who cried a lot when that happened. Jungkook, who is the youngest of the band, shares an intimate bond with each of the members who treat the 'maknae' of the group as their youngest brother. During the conversation, it was revealed that Jungkook's emotional words moved J-Hope and he eventually changed his mind.
Meanwhile, the leader of the group RM told their record label 'Big Hit' that they couldn't debut without J-Hope and needed him in the band. RM had said about telling them that RM needed Jung Hoseok and that they can’t make it without him. In the documentary, J-Hope is also seen saying, “I came back because I trusted you guys.”
Well, the BTS Army surely is glad that J-Hope decided to stay back in the group and bless fans worldwide with his trademark line - “I’m your hope, you’re my hope, I’m J-Hope!”
Jeon Jung-Kook or Jungkook earlier dreamt of becoming a professional badminton player. But when the singer, lyricist and composer witnessed Heartbreaker of G-Dragon on television, his mind diverted and from then on he aspired only to become a singer. It was a turning point in his life as thereafter he only aimed to become a singer.
But for him, the journey was not a cakewalk. Rather his first attempt was met with rejection. The pivotal member of BTS participated in one of the famous South Korean talent shows. But he was rejected during the audition. However, other entertainment companies thought that he had a spark and with time he managed to gain a foothold in the industry.
That is how he was roped in as the band member of BTS. Jungkook today is the third most adored celebrity across the globe with millions of fans following him. Success through BTS and other singles have made him a billionaire in a very short time and with fame came the rumours about linkups and dating.
Last year, he was rumoured to be dating K-pop band Blackpink’s Lisa as they were spotted hanging out regularly with each other. Interestingly, similar to BTS, Blackpink, and Lisa both are very popular across the world. Fans started shipping Lizkook but eventually, the linkup just turned out to be a rumour.
The cutest member of the band was also linked to Cube Entertainment’s trainee Ko Seohyun, actor and singer Chaeyeoni from DIA, Lovelyz group’s Jung Yein, and also with Mochi or Min Jisoo. But none of these rumours has been found to be true although pictures of Jungkook with these celebrities surfaced a couple of times on the internet.
Every member of the ARMY is well aware of the fact that one of the dreams of Jungkook is to visit India and taste famous Indian dishes. And, during his spare time, the famous K-pop singer loves to read the famous manga Dragon Ball or watch Leapt Through Time.
Be it their song 'Dynamite', 'Butter' or 'Permission To Dance', BTS songs always take over the top spot after their release. However, BTS ARMY was recently accused of manipulating music charts to help the globally famous K-pop septet hold their top spots. A national media portal quoted a recent interview from an international magazine where BTS leader RM broke the silence about the same and said that it is not right to target fans.
RM said that it seems like BTS is being an easy target, just because it is a boys group. RM in the interview said that if there are discussions regarding what being number 1 should represent, and then it’s up to them (Music Charts) to change the rules and make streaming weigh more on the ranking. Further, RM also elaborated and said that slamming the band or their fans is not right.
He added that it feels like they are easy targets because they are a boy band, a K-pop act, and have a high fan loyalty. Since August 2020, BTS has debuted on the top of Billboard Hot 100 every time the group has released a song. Recently, BTS’ 'Butter' ranked number one for nine weeks, while 'Permission to Dance' debuted on the top for a week following its release.
One of the first controversies related to BTS was triggered when the South Korean group was just starting to make it big internationally. When their initial release I Need U song outsold famous names like Big Bang, the group found themselves being accused of manipulating the charts. However, the controversy died down soon as it became obvious that the success was not achieved by some illegal manipulation but because the band was gaining huge global recognition, which led to an increase in sales.

Several Twitter members accused RM of using their lines and forwarding them as his own on another occasion. Later on, RM accepted his mistake and said that he should have confirmed the source that inspired him to write.
Another controversy was triggered when Jimin wore a shirt that carried a controversial message connected with the Hiroshima bombing. The T-shirt worn by Jimin featured slogans related to Korean independence. It did not go down well with the nationalists in Japan as they thought that the slogans were celebrating the bombing which ultimately led to the freedom of the Korean peninsula from the rule of Japan. The controversy became so big that a Japanese TV show had to cancel the appearance of BTS on their national television.
The group was slammed heavily for objectifying women through their song War of Hormone that released in 2014. Critics blamed the K-pop group for being misogynist while RM and Suga were accused of making misogynistic statements. Another time, Jungkook attracted controversy when he failed to practice social distancing during the Corona pandemic in April 2020.
The singer was spotted hanging in Itaewon’s restaurant and bar with 97 liner squad and was criticized heavily for his outing. The matter closed only after his agency and Jungkok himself came out with an apology.
She said that she takes all criticism in a positive way if it is about her, but it upsets her when they start commenting about her mother or even her little sister. The 22-year-old actress says that she doesn't hate her haters; in fact, she feels they are her biggest fans because they are constantly checking up on her. On the work front, Ananya will be next seen alongside Ishaan Khatter in 'Khaali Peeli'.
Jungkook’s ‘Decalcomania’ has always remained one of the most sought after solo songs that the BTS ARMY has been eagerly waiting for. However, in a zoom meeting with the ARMY, the fandom got a major update about the song when Jungkook revealed that he deleted the track’s file and folder from his system.
However, he assured the fans that the song is still in his head and he will work on it again in the future.
Jungkook's update was almost like heartbreak for the ARMY that could not believe that he deleted the files.
Some of his fans tried to understand Jungkook’s feelings and commented, “As much as everyone wants the full version, I think it's okay for him to not release the full version. He can have a song for himself. The half version also represents him trying to figure himself out and there is more.”
Another user commented, “Can’t believe he deleted the files of this masterpiece, I am actually so sad. this was my comfort song when I was feeling down, but I truly respect his decision not to post it. This boy has so much to say but don’t know how. He’s such an introvert and I can see it’s still difficult for him to show his true emotions. Hope one day he’ll overcome all of his insecurities.”
More importantly, the famous South Korean star named Billie Eilish as his inspiration behind the idea to come up with his mixtape. Jeon Jungkook kept on drawing BTS’ Graffiti while he answered the questions on how he and his group managed to achieve breakthrough success with Butter and Dynamite.

The prominent member of the Grammy Award-nominated group first revealed his intention to make a mixtape during a Buzzfeed interview in 2018. Moreover, the crooner has been quite open about the progress of his mixtape and has regularly shared the creative process and the things that he has been working upon for the last few years.
The BTS’ star singer revealed that it has been hard for him to work on this idea and he had kept on changing things if they did not please him. The Stay singer said that he can make the process of making mixtape easy by just talking about himself and his journey as a trainer and then achieving success. But, Jungkook believes that it can be done by anyone and will be nothing special.

On the other hand, Jungkook wants to come up with something original that has a complex story and then write songs to make it a complete presentation. Talking about the impact the debut album of Billie Eilish made on him, Jungkook said that the album left a big mark on him and he would like to have the track of his mixtape have the same cohesive flow. The star singer of BTS further added that even though it may come up as a jumbled piece, it is fine as long as the songs are good enough.
Recently the People's magazine declared the much-anticipated results of 'Sexiest Man Alive 2020: Readers' Choice Poll'. To the delight of Korean Pop fans, Jungkook, a member of the global Korean band BTS bagged the title of the Sexiest Man beating the likes of many international celebrities. He is the first Korean to be taking home this big win.
With the maximum number of votes by the audience, Jungkook gave tough competition to Dan Levy, Keith Urban, Matthew Rhys, and Paul Mescal to bag this huge title.
As soon as the results were announced, the fans of BTS who are called the ARMY started trending #SexiestManJungkook and are showering him with their love and wishes.
To those oblivious of the world of Korean Pop and BTS, here are some pictures of Jungkook which are proof that he is indeed worthy of being named the sexiest man alive.

But even before the confirmed news about the BTS involvement, the ARMY recognised the voices in the ad and trended #RockstarJungkook in the micro blogging platform.

As per reports, BTS has already had contracts with some of the global brands to promote their product and Coco-Cola was one of them. However, the debate ensued because the ad did not have any credits given to the pop group.
So, will Taehyung, aka V and Jungkook, who never had sub-unit tracks since their debut, finally drop their mixtapes together? Even better, will they release individually? There are too many questions and the ARMY has its own theory altogether.
The ARMY has already named the debut mixtapes of Taehyung and Jungkook as 'KTH1' and 'JJK1' respectively before official announcement. As per another group of fans, they will drop a joint mixtape which has also been named as 'Taekook.'.
As far as V is concerned, apart from the Apple Music bio, his fans went bonkers at his statement at the Grammy 2021 nominations where he hinted at dropping a mixtape by saying that there should be a nomination name "Mixtapes to Watch Out For" and should be given to him. The BTS army went berserk and thought that V's mixtape will release soon.
The speculations are based on an earlier incident when Apple Music updated Suga's profile picture and uploaded the cover of his mixtape. This happened a day before Suga's D-2 release on May 22, 2020. Now the fans are convinced that something like this will happen again and the mixtapes of V & Jungkook will release at the end of this month too.

It is worthwhile to mention here that all the members of the hit Korean boy band BTS have already made their sub units except for Taehyung and Jungkook, the sexiest man alive.
The Korean boy band went on to break many records last year and occupied a spot on every trending list. This year is no different as at the start of the year, as Jungkook revealed his new blonde look during a performance of their blockbuster song Dynamite the internet couldn’t hold it together. In the powerful and emotional note shared by the pop group in both English and Korean, the global band recalled instances when they were mocked at and discriminated against as Asians. The statement read, “We send our deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. We feel grief and anger. We recall moments when we faced discrimination as Asians. We have endured expletives without reason and were mocked for the way we look. We were even asked why Asians spoke in English.”
BTS members Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook, and Jin united in a singular voice to share how these instances pained them and chipped away their self-esteem. The letter continued, “We cannot put into words the pain of becoming the subject of hatred and violence for such a reason, Our own experiences are inconsequential compared to the events that have occurred over the past few weeks. But these experiences were enough to make us feel powerless and chip away our self-esteem. What is happening right now cannot be dissociated from our identity as Asians.”
Ending the note, Bangtan shared that they stand against the violence and support the movement after taking a considerable amount of time to decide how exactly they should address the series of events.

Usually, South Korean Idols often have “no public relationship” clauses in their contracts. BTS most likely has a similar clause in their contract with Big Hit Entertainment. The septets appear single in public but even then the ‘maknae’ of BTS, Jungkook has time and again been linked to a number of women. One of the strongest rumours was of him dating Blackpink’s Lisa.
The girl band Blackpink is also massively popular all over the world and Lisa is one of the most loved K-pop idols. Ever since the rumours of them dating started doing rounds, the fans have been shipping Lizkoook.

According to reports, rumours of Lisa and Jungkook being in a secret relationship have been brewing up for some time. The pair has also been spotted hanging out together, which has only added fuel to romance rumours.

But it is doubtful if there is any truth to these, It is because Blackpink's label, YG Entertainment, has very strict rules for Idols and their public dating life. Lisa wouldn't be able to be in a relationship with Jungkook unless specifically former CEO, Yang Hyun-Su approved of it. As of now, the duo maintains their ‘good friends’ tag.
Talking about collaboration on a song by the two, keeping the dating rumours in mind it would be difficult. This is because K-pop band's labels work thoroughly to maintain a star's image. If these two global bands did a song together, even more rumors would spread about Lisa and Jungkook dating. However, this doesn’t stop the ARMY and Blinks for wishing for a collab and shipping Lizkook, as if the duo are together they will be a global power couple.
Funny story: I became a BLINK when I saw this photo from my classmates talking if it's a real photo or a fanmade
After that I research Lisa & found blackpink & thats how I started to listen to KPOP 😍😍#blink #army #blackpink #bts #bangpink #jungkook #lisa #lizkook #liskook pic.twitter.com/W4hoSYe6ma

The famous South Korean pop group has been in South Korea for more than a year now after the Corona pandemic hit the world. The septet had planned to tour the world in April last year however now their planning has been delayed indefinitely. While BTS did host a few online concerts during this period including Muster Sowoozoo 2021 and Bang Bang Con: The Live (2020), it was not the same as performing live in front of the audience.
Speaking about the same Jimin earlier stated that even though he felt nervous when the curtain was about to rise during the streaming, once the group was on stage, there was no audience but only video cameras. According to Jimin although he is grateful that the group got to perform even during the pandemic, it was still painful for him.
Almost all the fans of BTS know that Jungkook is a big foodie and importantly loves sweets and ice creams very much. And that is how the other members from the K-pop group convinced this popular singer to join the group. In one of his blogposts, Jungkook shared that at one point in time he was more interested in becoming a dancer than a singer and had gone to America for the same. At that time he had just dropped the idea of debuting with BTS and wanted to focus on dance.
That is when the other members from BTS bought him ice cream and convinced Jungkook. Both BTS and ARMY are missing live performances in the stadium. Nevertheless, that has not stopped the K-pop group from churning out chartbusters and gaining popularity globally.
Recently released single Butter from BTS has become immensely popular especially after they came out with its Megan Thee Stallion remix version.
