Advani, who began his political career as a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh volunteer, had served as the Minister of Home Affairs from 1998 to 2004.
Setting new organisation targets for the BJP's expansion, Nadda said the party will constitute booth level committees at all 10.40 lakh polling stations by December 25 this year and have "panna committees", in reference to each page of voters' list by April 6.
Nadda mentioned that PM Modi has created an eco-system of solving the problems and addressing the issues of our country. "Prime Minister has exceptional qualities of taking quick and firm decisions, and with his patience and foresightedness he has been able to tackle some of the old issues plaguing our country," the BJP chief said.
Talking about women representation in Narendra Modi cabinet, Nadda, "The role and number of women in the Modi government have increased in recent times. In the Union Cabinet, there are 12 women ministers, 14 per cent of the total. This is a record in India's history."
