The spacecraft, after traveling about 1.5 million km from the Earth over 125 days, is expected to be placed in a Halo orbit around the Lagrangian point L1 which is considered closest to the Sun.
During the countdown process, the fuelling of the rocket -- liquid fuel -- will be done as well as checking of its systems.
In the video shared by air hostess Puja Shah on Instagram with the caption 'It is always a pleasure to have national heroes on our flight Mr S Somanath, Chairman of ISRO', the air hostess can be seen welcoming him through the flight's public address system.

It will be the first dedicated Indian space mission for observations of the Sun to be launched by the Bengaluru-headquartered space agency.
According to the space agency, Chandra's Surface Thermophysical Experiment (ChaSTE) measured the temperature profile of the lunar topsoil around the south pole, to understand the thermal behaviour of the Moon's surface.
"Mission Chandrayaan has become a symbol of the spirit of New India which wants to ensure victory, and also knows how to win in any situation," the Prime Minister said in the 104th episode of his monthly broadcast programme.
Aditya-L1 spacecraft is designed for providing remote observations of the solar corona and in situ observations of the solar wind at L1 (Sun-Earth Lagrangian point), which is about 1.5 million kilometres from the earth.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while describing the efforts that were channelled towards the success of the Chandrayaan-3 Mission, on Saturday stated that the scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) had built an artificial Moon at the worksite for experimentation.
After raising the slogan of "Bharat Mata ki Jai", the Prime Minister also raised the slogans of "Jai Vigyaan' Jai Anusandhan".
