She will star opposite superstar Salman Khan in the film.
"Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together," added the "Student of the Year" actress.
The list includes:
* "Taanaji - The Unsung Warrior" and "Chhapaak" on January 10: One is about a real life warrior, and the other on an acid attack survivor.
Ajay Devgn's period drama "Taanaji - The Unsung Warrior" is based on Tanaji Malusare, a 17th century Maharashtrian Marathi military leader in the Maratha Empire. Deepika Padukone's "Chhapaak" revolves around the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
* "Shamshera" and "RRR" on July 30: Ranbir Kapoor starrer "Shamshera" and Alia Bhatt-Ajay Devgn starrer "RRR" will be battling it out at the box office. While the makers of "Shamshera" announced the release date last year, filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli unveiled the release date of "RRR" -- a fictional story on two real-life heroes and freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem -- just earlier this month.
* "Sooryavanshi" and "Inshallah" on Eid: Filmmaker Rohit Shetty's "Sooryavanshi" starring Akshay Kumar was earlier slated to hit the screens in December this year but the makers announced May 22 -- Eid 2020 -- as its release date. According to reports, Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt-starrer "Inshallah", directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, too will arrive on the same date.
* Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor's yet untitled film and Hrithik Roshan-starrer "Krissh 4": The fourth instalment of "Krrish" will lock horns at the box office on Christmas.
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, an epic romance drama, is a co-production between Salman Khan Films and Bhansali Productions Private Limited (BPPL).
Announcing the film's release date, Prerna Singh, CEO of BPPL, said in a statement: "We at Bhansali Productions are happy to confirm that the film hits theatres on the Eid of 2020."
Salman and Bhansali have worked together in films like "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", "Khamoshi: The Musical" and "Saawariya".
Meanwhile, Salman's latest film "Bharat" minted over Rs 42 crore on the first day of its release on Eid on Wednesday. The actor on Thursday took to social media to thank his fans for giving "me my career's biggest opening ever".
According to sources, Big Boss Season 13 will be aired on September 29, 2019 and the finale will be staged on January 10, 2019.
Taking inspiration from the Dutch series ‘Big Brother’, Big Boss debuted in India on November 3, 2006. Since then, the show has kept drawing audience's attention with all the high-voltage drama among the contestants inside the ‘Big Boss’ house.
For every season, the franchise experiments with the theme, genre and fields from which it invites its contestants. Apparently, this season will show red signals to commoners and open gates to television and movie stars only. Although speculations have been made about Karan Patel, Zareen Khan and few other actors being enlisted for the season, no confirmation has been made yet.
Moving on to the ‘Salman highlight’ in the show, the actor has reportedly charged a whopping amount of Rs 31 crore per weekend making it a total of Rs 403 crore for all the 26 episodes in the season. There are also news about Salman’s offer of producing the Big Boss franchise along with few other shows like the ‘Kapil Sharma Show’ and ‘Nach Baliye’.
Salman Khan has recently given a box office hit with ‘Bharat’. His changed taste in picking up scripts and ‘out of the box’ performance in his latest release ‘Bharat’ has been much appreciated by fans. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actor has revealed about two of his upcoming projects. One is ‘Dabangg’ franchise casting Sonakshi Sinha and another new talent. His other project is Sanjay Leela Bansali’s most awaited film ‘Inshallah’.
Showering praises on his co-star Alia Bhatt, the Bharat star told Pinkvilla that ‘Inshallah’ is a beautiful love story “with all hearts, all smiles, fun, great music, visuals and beautiful Alia…”
Fans are now eagerly waiting for the 'Salman-Alia' pair up on silver screen with Inshallah’s release.
Salman took to Twitter late on Sunday, where he promised to come out with another film on Eid 2020. "The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!"
Details related to the delay have not been disclosed.
"Inshallah" marks the reunion of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman after two decades.
The two last worked together in the 1999 "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam". He also appeared in a cameo in "Saawariya" (2007).
But the twist is that the famous director is planning a new movie with Badshah Khan that has got nothing to do with “Inshallah” which he aimed to do with the “Dabangg” superstar.
According to a close source, “Once certain issues arose between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan, the filmmaker had realized that “Inshallah” may not be possible, so he had initiated talks with Shah Rukh Khan. They had last worked together in “Devdas” (2002) and both have always shared a warm and cordial association.”
The source further says that Bhansali is planning an entirely new story with the “Zero” actor. He has already registered the title “Izhaar” with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA) and currently is in talks with Shah Rukh. The movie will be produced jointly by the Bhansali Productions and Red Chilies Entertainment.
“Izhaar” is an intense and beautiful love story of unexpressed love and will most probably star Alia Bhatt in the lead. Incidentally, the “Raazi” actress was to be a part of Salman’s “Inshallah.” So most probably Sanjay might continue with the sultry actress. Alia who is quite upset after this movie with the “Tubelight” superstar was shelved had said no to an Amir Khan project to be a part of “Inshallah.”
Bhansali who is known to go by his mind has not dropped the idea of producing and directing “Inshallah” and rather is looking out for other stars that would fit the role of Salman. According to recent speculations, the director of “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” is planning to discuss his upcoming project with Hrithik Roshan.
At the same time Salman Khan will now be seen in the next venture of Sooraj Barjatya.
Hrithik Meets Sanjay Leela Bhansali
As per the earlier reports, the director had decided to shelve the project after Bhaijjan opted out of “Inshallah.” But very recently when Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan were spotted outside the office of SLB albeit on different timings speculations triggered that the “Black” director might be planning to rope in the “Krissh” superstar for the project.
Hrithik and Sanjay earlier worked together for the movie “Guzaarish” which had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a key role. The movie was based on the life of a magician Ethan who becomes a quadriplegic and applies for Euthanasia. Although the movie was not a big hit, it was highly appreciated by the critics with both Aishwarya and Hrithik getting splendid reviews for their outstanding acting.
When the project “Inshallah” was shelved, Alia was quite upset because it was the first time that she was getting a chance to work with superstar Salman Khan. Also, the busy actress is rumored to have refused a prestigious project with Aamir Khan to do a movie with the “Tubelight” actor. But when recently the “Raazi” actress was seen happy and smiling coming out of Bhansali’s office speculations triggered about the beauty still in talks with the director for “Inshallah.”
Alia was ardently looking up for this project as she was going to work for the first time with the celebrated director and superstar Salman Khan. But eventually, the “Devdas” director decided to start another project with the Bhatt girl titled “Gangubai Kathiawadi.” There is good news for Alia fans that another superstar is going to be a part of this movie.
No, it is not Salman Khan but an actor who worked with Salman in Bhansali's classic film “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” which also starred Aishwarya Rai. According to reports, Ajay Devgan will be doing a cameo in this movie and thus Alia and Devgan will be sharing the screen space for the first time.
Gangubai Kathiawadi To Be Bigger Than Padmaavat?
A recent report says that the movie set of Alia’s movie is going to be much bigger than any of the movies of Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is known for his penchant for using colourful and huge, creative sets for his films. From “Gooliyon Ki Leela Raasleela” to his last release “Padmaavat” all the sets in Bhansali’s movies, as well as the costumes, have been beautiful.
But when recently Alia just passed by the sets of her upcoming movie she decided to check out the look of the set. And when she saw the erected set the “Kalank” actress was simply awestruck as the set looked larger than life and magnanimous.
