As per the official notification, 283 special trains have been notified by the Indian Railways in this regard. These special trains will make a whopping 4480 trips and they have been planned to connect major destinations across India.

At present, several trains to and from Bhubaneswar station are cancelled due to the ongoing works for the third line between Mancheswar and Bhubaneswar. Several trains are operating from Bhubaneswar New Station and Khordha Road.

Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw on Monday announced that second Vandhe Bharat Express will soon roll in Odisha.The new Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to run from Rourkela to Bhubaneswar and will cover several districts.

While addressing the gathering, Vaishnaw announced that second Vandhe Bharat Express will roll soon in the state. The Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to run from Rourkela to Bhubaneswar.

The Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras will be set up at 50 stations under a pilot project, including one in Odisha (Khordha Road).

“Around 1300 major railway stations in India will now be developed as Amrit Bharat Railway Station. They will be re-developed in a modern way. Of these, work on the redevelopment of 508 Amrit Bharat Railway Stations begins today,” said Modi.
