Rutaparna received Rs 5 lakh cash award and a citation at the event organised at Mayfair Convention Hall today. The event was attended by Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, Padma Shri Dilip Tirkey and BJP National Vice President, Chairperson of Ekalabya Puraskar Committee and Trustee of IMPaCT Baijayant Panda, among others. 

Renowned writer and storyteller Paramita Satpathy received the prestigious 42nd 'Sarala Puraskar' on Tuesday. Sarala Puraskar which is instituted by IMPaCT, the charitable wing of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA), was presented to Paramita for her novel 'Abhipreta Kala'.

Ila–Bansidhar Panda Kala Samman for 2021 has been announced. Noted painter Jagdish Kanungo and eminent Ghumura artiste Jayanta Behera have been selected to receive the prestigious award.
