After students reacted mostly positively to the Class 12 mathematics exam on Wednesday, Hrithik tweeted: "I hear that today's maths paper in CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) 12 exam was easier than earlier years.
"Three cheers to the board for this. Maths was probably the most feared subject of my student life! Ironically currently I am having a fun time playing a maths teacher."
Directed by Vikas Behl, "Super 30" is currently being shot and is scheduled to release next year.
"Super 30" had earlier landed in a clash with actress Kangana Ranaut's "Mental Hai Kya" on July 26, but Hrithik urged the makers of his film to shift its release date to avoid a "media circus".
Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO, Reliance Entertainment, which has backed the film, tweeted: "'Super 30' now on July 12, 2019."
The film has been getting delayed for one reason or another.
Earlier, "Super 30" was to release on January 25, the same date as Kangana's "Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi".
But "Super 30", based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar who trains students for IIT-JEE in Bihar, did not see the light of the day on that date due to pending production work after director Vikas Bahl was named in the #MeToo movement.
Later, it was rescheduled for a July 26 release. But the makers had to give up on that date as well after Kangana's "Mental Hai Kya" was moved to this date.
Hrithik had then said in a statement: "So as to not allow my film to be desecrated by yet another media circus, I have decided to shift the release date of my film 'Super 30' in order to save myself from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence this would cause.
"Despite the film being ready, I have requested my producers to shift and announce the next suitable date as soon as possible," added the actor, who has had a personal clash with Kangana in the past.
Sunaina had on Tuesday tweeted: "And living in hell continues ....gosh I'm tired. I support Kangana all through".
Rangoli took to Twitter on Wednesday for a series of posts on Sunaina.
She tweeted: "Sunaina Roshan is asking Kangana for help, her family is physically assaulting her because she is in love with a Muslim man from Delhi. Last week they got a lady cop who slapped her, her father also hit her, her brother is trying to put her behind bars... I fear her dangerous family might harm her, we want to make this public because Sunaina (is) calling Kangana and crying all the time, Kangana doesn't know how to help her... so now she has blocked her number, but we fear for her safety.
"Everyone has a right to love whoever they want, hopefully this will scare Roshans and they back off... Kangana was so distressed after so many calls from Sunaina. Roshans are capable of harming Kangana, but this time around I am very careful I myself also spoke to Sunaina, I have kept all the messages and recordings, Sunaina is in trouble for sure and asking Kangana for help, but her father and brother must not harm Kangana.
"I have her back but at the same time it's my moral duty to help Sunaina also, present these facts to the world on Sunaina's request, so that Roshans know they are being watched now."
Kangana and Hrithik have had an infamous spat. The actors were involved in a row which began after Kangana hinted at Hrithik being her "ex-boyfriend". This was followed by an exchange of legal complaints and mud-slinging.
"I would like to say, thank you very much. I think I am fortunate that I have done films that have empowered me. I felt so much love and passion for both the films. After this, I feel very encouraged. From now, I will set my benchmark even higher," said Hrithik, at a press conference to celebrate the success of "War" in Mumbai on Friday. Accompanying the actor were co-stars Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor, and the film's director Siddharth Anand.
"War" is an expensive film and will take some time to record blockbuster profits, but the film's opening has been up to expectations. Opening as a solo release across around 4,000 screens in the festive holiday weekend, "War" recorded the highest first-day collection for any Bollywood film ever, raking in Rs 53.35 crore.
The film two massively popular heroes, Hrithik and Tiger. Talking about two-hero films, Hrithik said: "I think to pull off two-hero films, you really need two people who have real and honest admiration and love for each other. If not, the director is dead! As far as Tiger Shroff goes, I genuinely feel so much love and so much admiration for the person and the actor he is. I don't think the film would have been possible without these."
Hrithik revealed he had no expectations from the film when he started shooting. "When I started working on this film, I had no expectations. I had no expectation, but I had anticipation, fear and aspiration, that I need to be my best in the next shot. Not just me, everyone needs to be their best in the next shot. So I don't think I had thought about expectations or the box-office collection when we were making the film. It was just about doing our next shot best. Once the film was completed, that is when hope started to build up. That hope paid off more than expected, into success and celebration," said Hrithik.
"War" is produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Saturday tweeted: "'War' Hindi: Wednesday Rs 51.60 cr, Thursday Rs 23.10 crore, Friday Rs 21.30 crore. Total: Rs 96 crore...Tamil + Telugu: Wednesday Rs 1.75 cr, Thursday Rs 1.25 crore, Friday Rs 1.15 crore. Total: Rs 4.15 crore...Total: Rs 100.15 cr...India business."
Produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), "War" released in 4000 screens. The action thriller, which features Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles, recorded the highest first-day collection for any Bollywood film ever, raking in Rs 53.35 crore.
On receiving such an overwhelming response from the audience, director Siddharth Anand said: "For all of us what matters most is that our film is receiving universal love and appreciation. It is one of the rarest of moments where kids, youth, families, older age segments are all loving a film and endorsing it incredibly positively.
"We are deeply thankful and humbled. We have made 'War' with a lot of passion, belief and love and it's fantastic to see audiences enjoying themselves to the fullest in the theatres. Our film is a big screen experience and we hope we entertain people across the length and breadth of our country in the days to come!"
"War" was released on October 2 on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary.
The subject came up on Twitter after a user asked him he had a cigarette in his hand while he was standing with his sons in the balcony of his home, in a recently-posted picture shared by the actor's fanclub.
"Does @iHrithik have a cigarette in his hand or am I seeing wrong? I hope you don't @iHrithik. It makes me very very very sorry," the user wrote.
The actor replied: "I am a non-smoker. :) and if I was Krrish, first thing I'd do after eradicating this virus would be to decimate every last cigarette from this planet.
Recently, Hrithik shared some 'lockdown tips' with fans. He suggests a daily dose of vitamin D to take care of mental health even as we continue to be confined at home.
In a selfie he shared on Instagram, Hrithik sits in the sun. "Get your shot of Sun. Every day. 10 mins..Find a way. #stayalert #mentalhealth #vitd #staybright #lockdowntips," the actor wrote.
Fans of the actor replied to his post with praises and love, but most of them seemed more interested in gushing about his looks than involving in any serious discussion on mental health.
Talking about mental health, Hrithik has recently started learning piano, which he feels is "great for activating both sides of the brain".
Hrithik Roshan has been spending the lockdown with his ex-wife Sussanne Khan, who has temporarily moved in with him, to take care of their two sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
A few days back, Sussanne shared a video in which Hrithik along with his sons can be seen enjoying a beautiful view from their balcony.
Along with the video, she wrote a few lines of the poem "Leisure" by William Henry Davies.
"What is this life, so full of care, We have no time to stand and stare. No time to stand beneath the boughs And ask with love, about the ‘why's' and ‘ how's' So stop awhile and do enjoy that stare, Take it in.. absorb as we all are moving.. even though we don't know where. There is, this amazing thing called ‘Life'.... as the ultimate dare. Stay Home, Stay strong and full of care," her post read.
