Sweltering heat prevailed over most parts of Odisha on Sunday with as many as eight towns recording temperature of over 40 Degree Celsius even as the Bay of Bengal is set to host a fresh low pressure in three days' time

As many as 7 towns recorded temperatures above 40 degree Celsius in Odisha on Monday. Boudh registered the highest temperature of 41 degree Celsius during the day.
