Odisha is likely to witness heatwave conditions as day temperature is likely to rise by 3 to 4 degree Celsius gradually after 3 days.
As per the IMD, 21 towns in the State recorded maximum temperature of 40 degrees or above.
As per IMD, there will be no large change in the maximum temperature (Day Temperature) during next two days over the districts of Odisha.
As the sun marches northwards and according to the climatology, the month of March is when the region extending from Maharashtra to Odisha is a heat zone.
Over-crowding of passengers in the public transport vehicles will be avoided and ‘Jalachhatras’ (water kiosks) will be put up at bus stands and bus stops for the passengers.
