Age Limit
The minimum age limit to apply is 18 years and the maximum is 22 years i.e. born between 01 Aug 1998 to 31 Jul 2002- (both dates inclusive). There is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates in case of upper age limit.

Recently, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Railways Minister Piyush Goyal said that over one lakh government job aspirants have been empanelled by the RRB in the last three years.
“During the last three years, from 2017-2018 to 2019-2020 (up to March 5), a total number of 1,47,620 candidates have been empanelled for various Group ‘C’ posts (including Level-1) by Railways through RRBs and Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs),” Goyal said.
He further said that three recruitment examinations against Centralized Employment Notifications (CEN) are in process to be conducted in the coming months.
