An 11-year-old student was allegedly gang-raped by two seniors inside the washroom of a Kendriya Vidyalaya in the national capital.
After her return on Monday, the gang rape survivor explained her missing out on the TI parade as mental depression. As per her explanation to her father, she said she was subjected to humiliation as a gang rape survivor at her workplace on Saturday and decided to end her life.
The survivor lodged an FIR at Paradip Adarsh police station, sources informed adding that the police have detained one accused in connection with the case.
The police on Sunday carried out scene reconstruction. The accused were taken to Amnesia Pub on Road Number 36 Jubilee Hills where the victim and the accused had attended a daytime party, Consu Bakery on Road Number 14 Banjara Hills and the isolated place on Road Number 44 Jubilee Hills where the five had sexually assaulted her.
The police officer termed as '100 per cent baseless' the allegations about the home minister's grandson. He also said neither the victim's statement nor other evidence gathered so far show that MLA's son was involved.
A woman lawyer of Allahabad High Court, on Friday, threatened to immolate herself with her three-year-old son outside the Supreme Court if action is not taken against the two men, who allegedly gang-raped her for years.
