The excise sleuths intercepted the vehicle mid-way and inspected it in search of illegal contraband items. However, they failed to find any such materials from the vehicle following which the travellers got into an argument with the raiding officials.

As many as five excise officials, including a woman constable, were injured in attack by a group of miscreants involved in illicit liquor and ganja trade during a raid at a den, on Thursday.
