Odisha CM Proposes Long-term Solutions During PM Modi's Cyclone Yaas Review

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik proposed two long-term solutions during the Prime Minister's post-Cyclone Yaas review meeting on Friday (May 28). The Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), Pradeep Jena informed that the Chief Minister requested for a modern technology-based cyclone resilient electricity system. The Commissioner also said that the state asked the Prime Minister for long-term measures for protection of coastal areas from frequent cyclones in the state.
