Of the 4,45,133 deaths reported so far in the country, 1,38,518 are from Maharashtra, 37,603 from Karnataka, 35,337 from Tamil Nadu, 25,085 from Delhi, 23,591 from Kerala, 22,887 from Uttar Pradesh, and 18,652 from West Bengal.

More than 1.05 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with states and union territories while over 47,43,580 doses are in the pipeline and will reach them within the next three days, the Union health ministry said on Tuesday.

For the last few days, India has been witnessing a declining trend in the daily COVID-19 cases. However, the infection count is still over 3 lakh. At least 3.29 lakh persons tested positive in the country in the last 24 hours, pushing the overall tally of COVID-19 cases to over 2.26 crore.
