With the fresh cases, the total number of Omicron infection has reached 103 in the State.
As per the guidelines issued by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), all air traveller de-boarding at Bhubaneswar, except those in transit, shall have to undergo RT-PCR test.
“The access to the school and hostel has been closed. Arrangements will be done for testing all the staff and students of the school and they will be vaccinated on a priority basis,” informed Nikhil Pawan Kalyan, Sundargarh District Collector.

With this, the active cases in the State remained at 33,019 while 8,60,142 patients have recovered, including 3,644 on Friday, from the disease so far.
The Covid-19 daily positive count in Odisha dropped below 3,000-mark for the second time in the last four days. However, deaths due to the virus continued unabated in the State.
On Tuesday, the State had recorded 3,671 positive cases and 38 deaths.
Odisha now has 38,727 active cases, while 8,35,132 people have recovered from the disease so far.
With this, the cumulative positive tally touched 8,73,925 while death toll rise to 3,550 on Saturday.
The situation in Odisha is under control. The number of recoveries is more than the daily infections, said CM Naveen Patnaik.
