Usually, most snakes are cannibals who eat other snakes when hungry or there is no other source of food available. It was rather unusual for the Snake Helpline members to witness what unfolded in an under-construction septic tank in a house in Dulanapur village under Banki-Tamapada block.

A 2-ft long cobra was found hiding inside a shoe in a house in Bhubaneswar’s Chandrasekharpur area.

A 4-feet long cobra was rescued from a house in Bhubaneswar’s Brahmeshwarpatna area on Tuesday (Nov 2). As per reports, one of the family members of the house noticed the snake slithering and entering into the electric meter box.

A giant cobra was recently spotted inside a toilet in Banki area of Cuttack. The residents thought it would go out on its own, but the snake did not leave the place and stayed inside the bathroom for the entire night.

In an eerie incident, a five-feet-long cobra snake was found coiled on a motorcycle in Jajpur’s Dhabalgiri area. The snake was found coiled in the tyre of the motorcycle. As per reports, the owner of the house had left his house for some days for work. However, after returning home, late in the night, he discovered a cobra entwined in the tyre of his bike. The owner tried his best to capture and remove the snake, but was unsuccessful in doing so. He also took his neighbour’s help, but to no avail. Helpless, he then resorted to calling the snake helpline members, who arrived at the spot and after much effort, were finally able to rescue the cobra. Later, the snake helpline member released the reptile in a forest area nearby.
