On the basis of screening test held through Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2018 on June 3, 2018, the candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2018.
The candidature of these candidates is provisional. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for IFoS (Main) Examination, 2018 which would be available on the website of the Union Public Service Commission, https://upsconline.nic.in/.
All the qualified candidates are advised to fill up the DAF-IFoS, make the payment of Fee (Where applicable) as per the prescribed mode i.e. ONLINE and submit the same ONLINE for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2018 to be held from 2nd December 2018. The DAF will be available on the Commission website from September 4, 2018 to September 18, 2018 till 6pm.
Important instructions (regarding filling up of the DAF-IFoS and submitting the same ONLINE to the Commission) would also be available on the website. The qualified candidates have to first get themselves registered on the relevant page of the website before filling up the ONLINE Detailed Application Form.
The qualified candidates are further advised to refer to the Rules of the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2018, published in the gazette of India (Extraordinary) of Ministry of Environment Forests and Climate Change dated February 7, 2018.
It may be noted that mere submission of application form does not, ipso facto, confer on any right for admission to the Main Examination. The E-Admit card along with the time table of the Main Examination will be uploaded on the Commission’s website for the eligible candidates three weeks before the commencement of the Examination. Changes, if any, in the postal address or e-mail address or mobile number after submission of the DAF may be communicated to the Commission at once.
Candidates are also informed that marks, cut off marks and answer keys of screening test held through CS(P) Examination, 2018 will be uploaded on the Commission website, only after entire process of the IFoS Examination, 2018 is over i.e. after the declaration of final result of IFoS Examination, 2018.
The Union Public Service Commission have a Facilitation Counter near the Examination Hall Building in its Campus. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their result of the above mentioned examination on all working days between 10.00 Hrs. to 17.00 Hrs. in person or on Tel. No. 011-23385271, 011-23098543 or 011-23381125 from this Facilitation Counter. Candidates can also obtain information regarding their result by accessing Union Public Service Commission Website.
The result of Roll Number 1048940 has been withheld as the issue regarding the candidature is subjudice.
Here are some other important information for the candidates appearing for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2019:
(a) The candidates are required to carry along the (original) Photo ID Card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, for appearing at each Session of the Examination.
(b) The candidates, whose photograph is not clear/visible in the e-Admit Card or his/her signature appears in place of the photograph, are required to carry with them two photographs (one for each session). They would be allowed to appear at the Examination along with Photo ID Card, after giving an undertaking, which is available with the Examination functionaries at the venues.
(c) Entry into the Examination Venue shall be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination i.e. 09:20 AM for the Forenoon Session (commencing at 9:30 AM) and 2:20 PM for the Afternoon Session (commencing at 2:30 PM).
Note: No candidate shall be allowed the entry into the Examination Venue after closure of the entry. As there would be frisking of the candidates, before entry into the Examination Halls/Rooms, the candidates are advised to enter the Examination Venue well in time for frisking.
(d) Candidates should also note that they shall not be allowed to appear at any other Examination Venue except the Venue mentioned in the e-Admit Card.Candidates are therefore advised to visit their allotted Venue, at-least one day before the scheduled date of the Examination to avoid any confusion/problem in reaching the allotted Venue well in time on the day of the Examination.
(e) Candidate should not be in possession of or using any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches etc., or camera or Bluetooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the Examination.
UPSC Chairman Arvind Saxena and Chairman, Civil Service Council of Mongolia, B Baatarzorig signed the MoU in presence of officers from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), said a PIB release.
"The MoU primarily aims to facilitate sharing and promoting best practices through bilateral exchanges. The areas of cooperation include exchange of experience in use of Information Technology in examination processes, modern approach to public service reforms, exchange of resource persons for conducting specialised training programs, seminars or workshops in areas of mutual interest," read the release.
Besides, the MoU contains enabling provisions for such other cooperation as may be mutually decided in due course.

Apart from that, the official notification for combined geo-scientist examination 2020 has also been issued by UPSC. While the last date to apply for the same is October 15, 2019, examination will be conducted on January 19, 2020.
Interested aspirants can visit the official website of UPSC to apply online for UPSC exam 2020 at www.upsconline.nic.in. The IES examination will be conducted on January 5, 2020.
As many as 495 vacancies will be filled for different posts. The vacancies include 21 vacancies for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (03 vacancies for Low Vision, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy & 07 vacancies for Hard of Hearing, 11 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, ). There may be alteration in the number of vacancies.

In the next page, another form will appear to select your subject. Marks obtained in graduation, name of college need to be filled. One should be careful while choosing the subject. Click ‘Save and next’
In the next page, you will have to upload your photograph and a snap of your signature.
