The selection will be through a National level NETS (National Entrance Test for SHRESHTA) to be conducted by the National Testing Agency in Computer Bases Test Mode.
In its notice, the CBSE has stated, “It has come to the notice that in Term II practical examinations, in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc, two practicals are to be performed in one and half hours duration.”

The plea said many students studying in CBSE, ICSE, NIOS and state board approached the petitioner, Anubha Shrivastava Sahai, for issues they are facing regarding the board exams and are directly affected by the outcome of this PIL.
Students are demanding the cancellation of Term 2 exams and are requesting alternative assessment criteria. Some students have even moved to the Supreme Court and filed a plea in this regard. The petition will be heard by the apex court on February 21, 2022.
