While the exams for minor subjects for class 10 will be conducted from November 17 to December 7, those for class 12 will be conducted from November 16 to December 30.
After declaration of datesheet by CBSE, teachers and students have weighed the pros and cons of offline exams.
With CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) term-1 exams approaching, a teacher has shared details regarding term division, marking criteria and the offline exams.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has allowed students to change their city or examination centre for Class 10 and 12 term-1 Board examinations 2021-22, depending on their current area of residence.
The term 1 will be of objective type and term 2 will be subjective paper, CBSE had announced earlier.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday released the date sheet of term 1 board examinations for Class 10 and 12 students for the session 2021-2022.
The board said the exams will be objective-type and the duration of the tests will be 90 minutes. The exams will start from 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am, keeping in view the winter season.
With the Term-1 Board exams for Classes 10 and 12 all set to kick off in November, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reportedly come up with some new rules and guidelines for students appearing in the exams.
As per the latest CBSE circular, the request for all the processes will be accepted only ‘Online’ along with processing charge. No application after schedule and in offline mode will be accepted.
The board had earlier announced to divide the board exams for Class X and Class XII into two parts, i.e. Term 1 and Term 2. The board had also decided that the final score of the students would be calculated on the basis of her/his performance in both terms.
All the CBSE affiliated schools are required to register themselves before proceeding for the online submission. Schools must use the 'Affiliation Number' as user ID already available with them.
The CBSE has said that some students have been placed in RP (Repeat in Practical) category in few subjects in the Class 12 results which were announced recently.
The CBSE will hold the examinations for improvement of marks of classes 10 and 12 candidates from August 25 to September 15, and has fixed September 30 as the date for declaration of results.
"Either the data regarding marks of certain subjects was not available for these students or there were some calculation errors by the schools which were rejected by the portal for preparation of results.
CBSE has clearly stated that no merit list will be prepared for Class 12, 2021 results. The Board will neither declare subject-wise merit list of students nor will it issue merit certificates to the students.
