A BSF jawan was killed and two Assam Rifles personnel suffered gunshot wounds Manipur's Serou area, the Army said on Tuesday.

BSF troops deployed at the border heard the buzzing sound of a suspected flying object (drone) entering from Pakistan into Indian territory near Dhanoe Kalan village on Tuesday night.

A BSF spokesman said that a blinking light of a "suspected" drone was observed around 12.15 a.m. on the international border in Ramnagar area of Samba district.

The unmanned aerial vehicle carrying five kg of heroin was shot down in Kakkar village, Punjab Police said.
