Odisha Matric Exams 2021: Check BSE Exam Pattern & Offline Schedule For Regular & Ex-Regular Students

As many as 15,155 students have filled up application forms to appear for offline matriculation exams scheduled from July 30 till August 5. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in Odisha informed that around 6,596 students have applied to appear for annual HSC exams, 8,493 for State Open School certificate exams and 66 have applied for Madhyama examination.

After cancellation of the Class 12th Board Exams, concerns have now been raised over conduct of IIT-JEE, CLAT, NDA and more such exams in physical mode. Challenging the decision of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) to cancel the Class 12th Board Exams, a plea was filed before the Supreme Court on Monday (June 21).

CHSE Plus-2 Results 2021 Marking Criteria: Matric Exams To Play Important Role In Class 12 Marks Evaluation

While the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination) have already come up with the evaluation formula for Class 12 exams, all eyes are now on the criteria the Odisha CHSE Board is going to adopt. The Vice Chairman of Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Tusharkanti Tripathy on Thursday (June 17) made a big revelation in this regard. According to Tripathy, matriculation or the Class 10 examination would play an important role in the calculation of Plus-2 Board Examination marks.

CBSE Results 2021: Marking Criteria Revealed? Board May Favour 3-Year Marks For Class 12 Evaluation

The suspense over marking formula still prevails. The CBSE panel is likely to finalise the assessment criteria for Class 12 Board examinations today and present it to the Supreme Court tomorrow (June 17). If reports are anything to go by, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to take into consideration - the marks obtained by students in the finals of Class 10, Class 11 and Class 12 pre board exams to evaluate marks for students in Class 12 Board exams.

Odisha CHSE Plus-2 Exam Marking: Teacher Forums Resent Expert Committee Snub

Three major college teacher associations expressed their displeasure over non-inclusion in the process to determine an objective marking scheme for Plus-2 exams. As per allegations, their representation has not been sought in the 14-member expert committee formed by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) to decide the Class 12th evaluation methodology.

Cancel Odisha Plus-2 Exams, Congress Chief Urges CM Naveen Patnaik

Soon after the cancellation of CBSE and ICSE Class-12 board exams, Odisha Congress chief Niranjan Patnaik urged CM Naveen Patnaik to cancel the Plus-II board exams under the State Board.
