The saffron party leaders staged a dharana at the statue of Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das in front of Raj Bhawan, demanding the scalp of the School and Mass Education Minister.

The BJP demanded CBI enquiry in the case pointing only the central agency can conduct an impartial investigation as the MLAs and leaders of the ruling party are involved in this high profile case.

Over three dozen of them have been given various posts as Chairpersons, Advisors and Vice-Chairman to different Boards, Councils and Departments.
