After a break of two years, Bhubaneswar is all set to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with a fanfare this year. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has eased Covid norms for Ganesh puja celebrations by allowing devotees to visit puja pandals this year. However, devotees have been urged to abide by the Covid precautionary measures.

Restriction on public entry into BMC office has been imposed
The BMC has prohibited Zero Night Celebration, New Year welcome in hotels, restaurants, Clubs, Parks, Convention halls, Kalyan Mandaps and other such places from December 31 to January 2.
