The deceased officer has been identified as Dibyaranjan Mishra, a resident of Santipada in Bolangir district who worked as an agriculture officer with the Punjab National Bank’s Barpali branch.

Meanwhile, a search operation has been launched in Anga river by fire personnel after Mishra’s bike and helmet were found on the bridge over it at Cherupali on NH 26.
