Launching a scathing attack on the BJD govt in Odisha, BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda on Saturday said media houses in the state are becoming victims of the targeted wrath of the State government.
A threat call was reportedly received by an assistant of the BJP National VP in which the caller threatened that 'the same thing will be done to Jay Panda which was done to Naba Das'
The Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) on Saturday released the list of its central office bearers. Baijayant Panda has been re-appointed as the National Vice President of the party for the third time. BJP National President JP Nadda released the list of the central office bearers of the party.
On the occasion, his son and BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda remembered him and offered floral tribute to the departed soul.
"Why is The Kerala Story being resisted by a desperate old ecosystem? Are they worried about the shocking exposé it promises?"
Coming down heavily on the BJD government, Panda said, “Bad governance is prevalent in the State for the past 23 years. Odisha has witnessed a 1000 times rise in the crime rate in the last one decade. Be it Mamita Meher, Naba Das or minor boy Samarth Agarwal kidnapping and murder case, the State is witnessing such crimes frequently.”
As per Panda, there are some people who have been trying to give Atiq a clean chit just because he was shot dead while in police custody.
According to Panda, the way it is being said as 'Hindu or Muslim area and the issue of process' is totally wrong as in India everybody has a right to go to every place and it is not in our constitution and those who are saying so are wrong.
Taking to Twitter, Panda shared a video in which the three women were allegedly forced to reach TMC office by performing 'Dandavat Parikrama' in full public view (circumambulate in a prostrate position) as punishment and then rejoining the ruling party in Balurghat in North Dinajpur district.
Panda's remark comes close on the heels of the German Foreign Ministry spokesperson comments on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's conviction and subsequent disqualification from Parliament.
BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda also remembered the eminent leader on his birth anniversary.
