Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit West Bengal on Monday during which he will inaugurate a Durga Puja pandal at Sealdah in Kolkata, sources said.
"Naxalism is a curse to humanity and we are resolved to uproot it in all its forms," Home Minister Shah said.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has approved the release of Rs 44.8 crore as an advance amount from the central share of the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) to Sikkim to provide relief to flash floods-affected people.
This event was organised in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for a cleanliness drive, encouraging citizens from all walks of life to participate in the initiative.
He made the remarks at the Concluding Session of International Lawyers Conference here at the Vigyan Bhawan.
After the meeting, Nadda said on X, "I am happy that JD(S) has decided to be the part of National Democratic Alliance. We wholeheartedly welcome them in the NDA. This will further strengthen NDA and vision of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji for 'New India, Strong India'." Shah was present in the meeting.
His remarks came after Rahul Gandhi while speaking on the Women’s Reservation Bill in Lok Sabha demanded for caste based census.
“I want to tell these parties that if they ignore the country’s history, the people will ignore them,” he said while addressing Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad here.
In a message on the occasion of "Hindi Diwas", Shah also said Hindi has never competed nor will compete with any other Indian language and that a strong country will emerge only by strengthening all its languages.
The Union ministers met Kovind at his 12 Janpath residence and discussed the dates for convening the first official meeting of this committee.
He alleged that the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has made the state an ‘ATM of Gandhi Family’.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved a subsidy of Rs 200 on domestic cylinders for the mothers and sisters of the country on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan and Onam.
Speaking in Lok Sabha during no-confidence motion debate in Lok Sabha brought by the Opposition, Shah said PM Modi PM Modi's government is the only one that won the trust of most of the people.

"From 2015-2019, there has been a 30% decrease in the number of naxal incidents, a 32% decrease in encounters, and a 56% decrease in death of security personnel. I thank Odisha government and Naveen babu for extending cooperation to us to curb Naxalism," Shah added.
