Tension erupted in Ujjain after members of Bajrang Dal staged protest against actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt during their visit to Mahakaleshwar Temple on Tuesday. The protestors alleged that Ranbir’s past comments about enjoying beef eating has hurt the sentiments of the Hindus.
Amid the protest, Brahmastra director Ayan Mukherjee took darshan of the deity, temple priest said.
