All the eligible women members of a family will receive the money under the SUBHADRA Yojana, said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Tuesday, eliminating the earlier confusion over the selection of beneficiaries.
“BJP will deliver what it promised before coming to power. SUBHADRA Yojana is for all. All women will receive the SUBHADRA money. We had said that Rs 50,000 would be given to all. So we are giving Rs 50,000 to all,” said Parida.

She also clarified that if there are three to four eligible women in a family, all of them will receive the SUBHADRA Yojana money. Even widows receiving allowance and girls receiving scholarships will also get the assistance.
Who can apply
An applicant should be a resident of Odisha
An applicant’s age should be 21 years old or above and below 60 years on the cut-off date
An applicant’s date of birth on the AADHAAR card will be considered
For the financial year 2024-25, an applicant should be 21 years old or above and below 60 years old by July 1, 2024. So the beneficiary’s birthday should be between July 2, 1964 and July 1, 2003. For the rest of the years, the government will decide the eligible date.
Requirements to avail of SUBHADRA money
A beneficiary must have an AADHAAR Card/AADHAAR number
A beneficiary must have linked her mobile number to her AADHAAR number.
A beneficiary must have an AADHAAR-enabled single-holder (DBT) bank account.
If a beneficiary doesn’t have an AADHAAR number or her AADHAAR card information doesn’t tally, she has to register under AADHAAR or make necessary changes.
Suppose a beneficiary doesn’t have an AADHAAR-enabled single-holder (DBT) bank account. In that case, she will be given a chance to open a single-holder bank account, to make it AADHAAR-enabled, to make it DBT-enabled and to complete the e-KYC process.
In the financial year 2024-25, all the beneficiaries will get Rs 10,000 from the yojana’s inauguration date.
