London: English Club Manchester City new coach Pep Guardiola made his intentions clear that he is there to win titles.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach is due to make his English Premier League debut on Saturday against Sunderland, reports Efe.

Although Guardiola acknowledged he needed time to impose his style on Club, he was in England "to win titles."

Guardiola told press here on Friday, that he had been successful in Spain and also in Germany despite big challenges, and now he was in England to do the same.

"Of course we are here to win titles but there are six to eight big English Premier League teams," the 45-year-old coach said.

"To play good, you need time. But to play with soul, with something inside, we don't need time," Guardiola added.

"Tomorrow, maybe we're not going to play good. I don't know. But we're not going to accept not playing with soul."
