A total of 60 players were sold, including 40 Indians and 20 overseas, at today's VIVO IPL Auction. While 351 players were under the hammer, all eyes were on India's all rounder Yuvraj Singh. With a base price of Rs 1 crore, it was expected there will be many teams bidding for the 2011 World Cup Player of the Series. Though initially there was no bidding for him, he was later SOLD to Mumbai Indians at his base price.

Just when we thought left arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat will be the biggest buy, young all-rounder Varun Chakaravarthy joined him in the Rs 8.4 crore club. With a base price of Rs 20 lakh to reaching Rs 8.4 crore, Varun is likely to be in focus this season. Unadkat went to RR, Varun was sold to KXIP; Shivam Dubey too impressed the bidders and was sold to RCB for Rs 5 crore.
