Kolkata: Kolkata-based sister duo of Rashmi and Richa Sharma today swam across the Indian Ocean in South Africa with a timing of three hours and twenty minutes.
According to a statement, they crossed the Indian Ocean (Algoa Bay Crossing, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Coast of South Africa).
They started from King`s Bay and finished at Bell Buoy.
The duo, who had crossed the Strait of Gibraltar two years ago, will now attempt the South Atlantic Ocean next week at Cape Town (Western Coast of South Africa), said the release.
Rashmi also has crossed the English Channel thrice in 2006, 2007 and 2009.
