Dhaka: South Africa captain Graeme Smith won the toss and elected to bat against Bangladesh in their Group B match of the cricket World Cup here today.

South Africa made three to their squad, bringing in Wayne Parnell, Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Imran Tahir while resting Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel and Colin Ingram.

There was just one change for Bangladesh with Naeem Islam coming in for Suhrawadi Shuvo.
