Alligators are dangerous and powerful creatures. It is almost impossible to escape from the deadly jaws of the reptiles. However, these alligators are not aggressive towards humans. Though alligators attacking humans is quite rare, the possibilities can't be ignored. As per reports, most attacks occur in freshwater environments, such as lakes, rivers, and wetlands. People are advised to take precautionary measures to avoid any mishap.
However, in Florida, sightings of alligators are quite normal. Sometimes, these alligators are seen straying on golf courses, or even walking on roads near lakes or rivers. Human and alligator encounters are quite common in the day-to-day life of residents in Florida.
Recently, a video surfaced on the internet that shows an alligator suddenly attacking a woman. However, what the woman did will leave anyone surprised.
In the video, a woman can be seen walking on a road with her mobile camera turned on. She shows a huge alligator hiding behind a bush. As she walks closer, the gator rushes towards her with its widened jaws. The woman screams loudly but seems not to be terrified by the attack. Surprisingly, she pats the head of the gator and says, "Easy fella."
Though the gator closes its mouth for a moment, it again widens it as soon as the woman removes her hand. However, the woman without panicking keeps it cool and chuckles.
While the origin source of the video couldn't be obtained, it is shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Nature is Amazing. The video has amassed over 5.9 million views and is liked by over 39K viewers. As claimed, the video was captured on a normal day in Florida. Moreover, the comments section is also flooded with some hilarious comments and a few others shared similar experiences.
