Ireland elect to field against West Indies

Mohali: Ireland won the toss and elected to field in their World Cup Group B match against the West Indies at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium here on Friday.

Chris Gayle is not a part of West Indies team as he has suffering from an abdominal strain. In his absence, Shivnarine Chanderpaul will open with Devon Smith.

West Indies have included Andre Russell in the side and stuck with two spinners in Sulieman Benn and Nikita Miller.

Ireland have made one change, bringing in Andre Botha in place of Johnston.
