Team India is ready to face New Zealand in their 7th World Cup semi-final on Tuesday. Both the teams are confident of winning the big clash. Performance of both the teams in the league matches had been outstanding and it doesn't seem an easy task for any team outperform the other.
So far, India have played six World Cup semi-finals while wining only three. India will have to beat New Zealand to the finals.
While fans are expecting a high-intensity contest, weather might play a spoilsport. As per reports, downpour has been predicted on the match day.
In case, rain results washed out of the match, it will be played on Wednesday-the ‘reserve day’. For both the semi-final matches, ICC has a reserve day.
However, if the rain continues till the reserve day and the match couldn't be played, India will automatically qualify for the finals.
Important To Note
India has accumulated higher number of points in the group stages and this will help India automatically qualify for the finals if such unfortunate situation occurs.
Hope, rain will not play spoilsport on the big day and we can witness a full game of cricket.
