Shraddha Kapoor as Female Lead in Sequel!
During a recent chat with Instant Bollywood, director-duo Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao were asked if they are considering casting Shraddha Kapoor opposite Harshvardhan Rane in the sequel. They were told fans wanted them to cast Shraddha as the female lead.

To this, Radhika instantly replied, "Shraddha Kapoor ko please tag kardo."
Why Shraddha Kapoor?
In Sanam Teri Kasam, lead actress Mawra Hocane portrayed the role of Saraswati aka Saru, the love interest of Inder (Harshvardhan). However, the makers pulled down the curtains on her character and will possibly cast a new actress in the sequel.
While no official updates regarding the cast in the sequel have been announced, fans of the 'Tu Jhuti Mein Makkar' actress want the makers to consider Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. Following the humungous success of Stree 2 and the recent reports of Shraddha being a part of all 8 movies under the Maddock Supernatural Universe, fans want to see the actress in the highly-anticipated sequel to the romantic-tragic saga.

Well, the statement by Radhika has delighted Shraddha's fans. However, the fans of Sanam Teri Kasam don't seem to be happy.
