Cuttack: Govind Poddar, who was picked for the Indian Board President’s XI squad in the warm-up match with Australia on September 12, will lead the Odisha Ranji team against Tripura.
Poddar will lead the 15-member team which was announced by Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Monday. The team has been announced for the match against Tripura in the upcoming Ranji Trophy tournament to be played on October 6.
The team includes-Sandip Patnaik, Natraj Behera, Abhinash Shah, Shantanu Mishra, Ranit Singh, Subhransu Senapti, Biplab Samantray, Saurabh Rawat (wk), Diraj Singh, Basant Mohanty, Suryakant Pradhan, Alok Sahoo, Alok Mangaraj and Deepak Behera.
Along with the Ranji squad, OCA also announced the Odisha U-23 squad for its match against Chhattisgarh. The team will be led by skipper Devendra Kunwar.
