‘Strong action must against dissidents’

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Jayadev Jena on Saturday found a support for his statement that some senior Congress leaders had worked against the party candidates in the recently concluded polls from senior leader and OPCC Treasurer Chiranjib Biswal.

"In case a party candidate has concrete proof against any leader of the latter's involvement in anti-party activities, it should be brought to the notice of the disciplinary committee. Action will be taken against the dissidents if the committee feels to do so after analysing the evidence," said Biswal.

Earlier, another senior party leader Narasimha Mishra had said if anyone expressed his displeasure over the party issue openly that can also be termed as 'indiscipline' and action should be taken.
