Debasish Mohanty in BCCI junior selection committee

Bhubaneswar: Former Indian fast bowler from Odisha, Debasish Mohanty has been appointed as a member of India’s junior selection committee by the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators today.

Mohanty will replace former fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad who had resigned from his position as chief selector in March.The other members in the selection committee are Ashish Kapoor, Rakesh Parikh, Gyanendra Pandey and Amit Sharma.

The development came after the apex court restored the number of members in each selection committee from three to five members on August 9.
