Celebrations broke out across India following the military's precise strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, in response to the deadly terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam. The operation, described by Indian officials as "focused and precise," was conducted after intelligence reports confirmed the involvement of Pakistan-based terrorist groups in the brutal assault.

In cities and towns across the country, people took to the streets to express solidarity with the armed forces. Firecrackers lit up the night sky, patriotic slogans echoed in the air, and national flags were waved proudly. Emotional scenes were witnessed as citizens, including the kin of those killed in the Pahalgam attack, hailed the strike as a long-overdue act of justice.

Likewise, Syed Adil Hussain Shah’s brother Syed Nowshaad, who died in the Pahalgam terror attack while trying to save the tourists, said, “I thank our security forces, PM Modi, central govt and state govt for taking such a good step...they have avenged the death of those innocent people...we feel proud of our govt, we had faith in them...”

Pragati Jagdale, wife of Santosh Jagdale, who was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, said, “Modi ji has shown Pakistan that we will not sit quietly. I feel, with Operation Sindoor, PM Modi will end terrorism.”
