After a clinical bowling display in their previous outing, the Men in Blue backed it up with a powerful batting effort to register a comprehensive win and build momentum in the tournament.

Asked to bat first, India got off to a flying start courtesy of openers Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan. The duo attacked from the outset, scoring at a brisk pace and laying a solid platform. Samson smashed 22 off just 9 balls, while Kishan lit up the stadium with a blazing 61 off 24 deliveries.
