The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has released the results of the Matriculation examinations, and among the thousands of bright minds, one name shone the brightest—Babita Rath, a student of Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Bargarh. 

Scoring an outstanding 584 out of 600 marks (97.33%), Babita has emerged as the state topper, bringing pride not only to her family but also to her school and the entire district.

Babita's family members were on cloud nine over her success. Buoyed by the success in the Matriculation success, Babita has set an aim to be a doctor.

'Grateful Before My Teachers'

Sharing her success mantra, Babita said, "I would like to give credit of my success to all my teachers and the family members. The teaching method of my school was very helpful for my success. Our teachers in our school were taking regular extra classes and clearing our doubts. My teachers gave me the belief that I could achieve top success in the examination. I am grateful before them for their motivation. I am so happy that I have fulfilled their dreams."

"I was setting targets and studying for eight to ten hours on daily basis. I was giving importance to all the subjects and prepared a proper time table for it," she further said.

"I want to be a doctor. I want to be a good human being and serve people and the country as a doctor. I feel that I could serve the society in a better way by becoming a doctor. My recommendation to the students is that there is no substitute to hard work. They should work hard and take help from the teachers to be successful in examination," she added.
